Hey Everyone! Thanks for stopping by. My name is Megan and this is a place for sharing the many crafts and things I enjoy creating. For the time being, I’m really into paper crafting. About a year ago, my sister Charlotte got me started (rather reluctantly) helping her make these beautiful Victorian paper shoes for a crafts show. Well, now I’m hooked! You will find paper shoes, cards, boxes and who knows what else. I hope you enjoy what you see and please feel free to leave comments and ideas. I would love for you to become a subscriber.

Hello Everyone! I made this card for my daughter’s birthday. She just graduated from Clemson University last December. We are all so proud of her.
Clemson’s colors are orange and a deep blue, almost purple. So I tried to keep in-like colors for her. With pale oranges and lavender.
The style of course is very, shabby chic! I purchased this beautiful wide lace and the pearl trim lace, from hobby lobby. For the bow I actually used cheese cloth. The lovely rose is from Prima. The papers are from my stash. I do know the shimmery, pale orange, flocked (with white hydrangea’s) was just recently at A.C. Moore. I promise to get back to you with the title of that paper as, it is gorgeous!
Hope you like it. Let me know what you think. Thanks! 🙂 .
Hello everyone and welcome to my blog!
This is a birthday card I made for my eldest son Joshua, who just recently turned 35.
The black doily frame piece was cut using a spellbinders die. The black medallion was made with black glitter paper, Tim Holtz metal cogs and watch parts were used, as well as actual watch parts.
The background paper is Mambi and the halfback black pearl is from Martha Stewart. Thin satin ribbon is simply wrapped around the card and tied in a bow at the top held with a dot of E6000.
Thanks for stopping by and tell what you think. 🙂
This is a very simple, straight forward card. The flourish was sent to me by my sister. It is cut out of a blue, glitter, shiny card stock. The gardenia is a pale green. the white flower is an embellishment I picked up at Wal-Mart. the teal glass stone was part of my jewelry making stash and I purchased it at Hobby Lobby some time ago. The sentiment is part of a spellbinders, nestability die cut that I colored in ceruleun blue on the edges. Then at the top are 3 recollections, 6mm, light blue pears. The background cardstock is textured, light blue. Thanks for stopping by. Let me know what you think! TaTa for now. 🙂
Hello everyone! Finally, I was able to post something! The picture was taken by a friend of mine in front of my apartment. Then, emailed to me. Thanks Ron!
This card was made for one of my dearest friend’s birthday. She loves pink! Her daughter loves butterflies. So, here was my chance to use this beautiful, intricate die by Cheery Lynn. Just look at all that detail. This die cut could stand alone just as it is.
The background paper I used came as a free bonus for purchasing cardmaker magazine. The name of the free packet of papers is called “Kate Knight, Spring Fling”. It:s lavender and the pink cardstock used for the butterfly matches the pink in the background paper. I individually placed tiny pearls all around the outside of the butterfly. The flower in the middle i made using a technique my sister Charlotte (miniwonderfulthings.com) came up with using pieces of silk flowers, glossy accents and diamond dust.. In the middle of the flower is a pale pink iridescent rhinestone from recollections. The lavender bow below it is pure silk from my stash. Other bling placed here and there. Hope you like it. Let me know. 🙂
